Charlotte's Computer & Technology Showcase Features Calyptix' AccessEnforcer™

October 23, 2007 — CHARLOTTE, NC Calyptix Security Corporation will display AccessEnforcer™ today at the Computer & Technology Showcase (CTS). Many of the Internet security sector's market leaders, such as Check Point Software Technologies, Fortinet, Astaro and SonicWall, will display their solutions side by side with Charlotte-based Calyptix Security. This event will provide a prime opportunity for members of the Charlotte technology community to see, first hand, the significant advantages and simplicity of the AccessEnforcer over other solutions. Demonstrations will take place both today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Charlotte's Convention Center.

The CTS exposes the latest technologies in exhibit areas and provides cutting edge educational sessions for IT professionals or those in search of IT solutions. Vendors on the leading edge bring new technologies to market at the CTS, demonstrate these solutions, and are available to discuss the challenges facing businesses today.

"UTM (Unified Threat Management) devices like our AccessEnforcer™ are sweeping the market as the preferred security solution for SMBs (Small to Medium-size Business)," comments Calyptix CEO Ben Yarbrough. Everyone at the event has a great opportunity to see the compelling advantages of our AccessEnforcer over products offered by some well know international vendors. When you stack them side by side, there is no comparison. We have built the UTM that finally delivers what everyone is looking for -- more security with less complexity."

Calyptix Security, launched in 2002 by Drs. Yuliang Zheng and Lawrence Teo, makes AccessEnforcer available to small to medium size businesses (SMBs), providing a comprehensive affordable solution that is easily activated, managed and maintained.

AccessEnforcer protects networks from spam, viruses, spyware, unauthorized web surfing, hackers and other cyber threats in organizations in the professional and financial services, manufacturing and not-for-profit sectors. The appliance is offered by authorized resellers that seek comprehensive security strategies for their clients. Calyptix Security's expertise is evidenced in several industry-wide vulnerability discoveries and in DyVax™, the company's proprietary inspection engine that dynamically filters email traffic, executable files and Microsoft Office files from true zero-day threats without reliance on signatures. DyVax has proven more successful than leading antivirus solutions.
