CALYPTIX SECURITY RELEASES ACCESSENFORCER SOFTWARE VERSION 1.5
April 15, 2007 — CHARLOTTE, NC Internet security firm, Calyptix Security, has released AccessEnforcer version
1.5, the newest and most robust version of the all-in-one network security
software imbedded in its AccessEnforcer™ series appliances.
AccessEnforcer version 1.5 makes significant enhancements in the area of
email management by providing an email quarantine for POP3 and SMTP users.
Built on a customized version of SpamAssasin, the industry's leading open-
source spam blocking filter, the AccessEnforcer spam filter examines each
piece of incoming mail and segments suspicious mail to a user-specific
quarantine box. According to administrator configuration, an email will
periodically be sent to active users on the network with a summary of
suspicious activity. A user can then link to his/her quarantine to examine
the message and see a harmless preview of its contents. Unwanted messages
can be "trashed" for good, or, if the mail is benign, it can be released and
sent to the user's inbox.
